Rebecca began her working life in purchasing within the semiconductor industry. After that, she transitioned into high street recruitment in 2003 and specialised in technical recruitment within the 'green industry' in 2006. When she joined Candover Green, she took on the task of setting up the Waste Resource & Environmental Division from scratch, which complemented their already established Engineering & Renewables division. Rebecca has a genuine passion for the industry, and her reputation has grown to the point where most people know of her. As a consultant, she prides herself on being honest and ethical, assisting companies across the UK and overseas with their recruitment needs.
She goes beyond just placing individuals into roles; she takes the time to coach them and listen to their needs, ensuring a tailored approach and fostering fruitful working relationships.
In 2020, Rebecca received a diagnosis of Epilepsy, which necessitated adjustments by her employer to ensure a safe working environment. She strongly believes in the importance of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). For her, reaping the benefits of EDI means creating working environments and cultures where every individual can feel safe, have a sense of belonging, and be empowered to achieve their full potential.
Rebecca is committed to advising companies on best practices to reduce staff turnover and develop strategies to assist with financial growth. With her extensive experience in the industry, she is well-equipped to provide guidance in these areas. Her expertise and passion make her a valuable consultant, and she continues to make a positive impact in the recruitment field within the 'green industry' and beyond.
