Chris has worked as a Health and safety professional in the waste and recycling industry for more than 30 years.

Chris has been involved in both UK and European waste & recycling industry safety bodies throughout that time and was involved in the development of the Waste Industry Safety and Health forum (WISH) from its beginnings in 2000. Chris has been Chair of WISH since 2008 and was honoured to receive the OBE in the Kings 2024 Birthday Honours list for services to health and safety.
