David is a veteran of the industry, having spent 33 years with SUEZ as Group Senior Vice President-Northern Europe, CEO UK and CEO Scandinavia. David has been active in shaping waste and recycling regulation through both UK and European trade associations and was awarded an OBE in the Kings New Years Honours List in 2023 for his services to recycling. After leaving SUEZ David set up a consultancy working on the waste and recycling sector and is presently working with iCON Infrastructure LLP on building a new waste business in the U.K.
